Pinealon

Pinealon (Glu-Asp-Arg) is a synthetic bioregulatory tripeptide from the Khavinson peptide family that targets the pineal gland and central nervous system. The compound is theorized to interact directly with DNA sequences, modulating gene expression through epigenetic mechanisms rather than classical receptor binding — activating genes associated with neuronal survival while decreasing the intensity of neuronal cell death. Published research in rat models demonstrates protection against prenatal hyperhomocysteinemia-induced cognitive impairment and improved learning retention in experimentally-induced diabetes.
