Pinealon Reconstitution Calculator

Enter the vial size and the bacteriostatic water you added to get the concentration and the micrograms carried by each unit on a U-100 syringe. Pinealon's compound page states no dose and no route, so this page does the arithmetic, not the recommendation. The compound itself is covered in the Pinealon guide.

A 20 mg vial of Pinealon reconstituted with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water gives a concentration of 10 mg/mL, or 100 mcg per unit on a U-100 syringe.

Defaults: 20 mg is the most common labelled vial among the Pinealon tests on file, 21 Sep 2026 (36 of 71); 2 mL was chosen for simple arithmetic and is not a sourced volume. Peptigrity publishes no Pinealon dose, so the dose field starts empty.

Pinealon lab record

Pinealon has 71 independent lab tests on file at Peptigrity, averaging 99.54% HPLC purity across the tests that report one. Purity is not net content: a clean certificate confirms what is in a vial, not how much. See the Pinealon lab-test records.

Why this calculator will not give you a Pinealon dose

Pinealon is a synthetic tripeptide (Glu-Asp-Arg) from the Khavinson bioregulator family, researched for pineal-gland-targeted neuroprotection, cognitive preservation and melatonin pathway regulation. The evidence is preclinical rodent and cell-culture work plus Khavinson-group human research in Russian clinical contexts, which the compound page says is not characterized at FDA-grade Phase 2/3 standards. Asked whether Peptigrity recommends a Pinealon dose, the page answers no. A calculator that printed one would be inventing the number the evidence does not supply.

The table sets out what the Pinealon compound page states (Last Updated: August 2026).

QuestionWhat the compound page statesEvidence level
What is it?A synthetic tripeptide (Glu-Asp-Arg) from the Khavinson bioregulator family, with a defined three-amino-acid sequenceChemical identity
Proposed target?Pineal gland: neuroprotection, cognitive preservation and melatonin pathway regulationKhavinson-framework proposal
Human studies?Human research in Russian clinical contexts, not characterized at FDA-grade Phase 2/3 standardsPreclinical (rodent and cell culture); Khavinson-group human research
A route? Not stated. The side-effects paragraph mentions injection-site reactions among community reports; that is safety text, not a route statementNone stated
An approved dose? Not approved by the FDA, EMA, or any major Western regulator (as of August 2026)None
A research dose?None stated; Peptigrity does not recommend oneNone — declined

One practical consequence: a milligram of Pinealon and a milligram of another short Khavinson peptide look the same to a calculator. The compound page gives the free tripeptide's molecular weight as 418.4 Da and warns that related Khavinson tripeptides can be mislabeled, so only a mass-spectrometry result on a certificate confirms which peptide a vial holds. The arithmetic also works from the label, not the contents: the Pinealon fact sheet records 69 results comparing measured to labelled quantity, with a median of 102.1% of label (figures as of 2026-09-21).

Pinealon quantity-to-units conversion

The table converts reference quantities to syringe units at the default of 10 mg/mL (20 mg of Pinealon in 2 mL), and counts how many draws of each a vial holds. Every row is arithmetic, not a dose: read the units for the amount you already intend to measure.

QuantityDraw at 10 mg/mLVolumeDraws from a 10 mg vialDraws from a 20 mg vial

Units at three concentrations

The same Pinealon quantity lands on a different mark depending on how much water went into the vial. Read down the column for the concentration you actually mixed; a units figure carried across from another column is simply wrong.

QuantityAt 20 mg/mL (20 mg + 1 mL)At 10 mg/mL (20 mg + 2 mL)At 4.0 mg/mL (20 mg + 5 mL)

500 mcg2.5 units5.0 units12.5 units
1 mg5.0 units10.0 units25.0 units
2 mg10.0 units20.0 units50.0 units

Every cell is the same arithmetic: units = (quantity in mg ÷ concentration in mg/mL) × 100 on a U-100 syringe. More water spreads the same mass over more units, which is the fix when a small quantity would otherwise sit at two or three units, where a one-unit misread is a large error.

How many draws one Pinealon vial holds

Each Pinealon vial holds as many draws as its labelled mass divided by the quantity per draw; the water volume changes nothing about it. The grid counts draws, not weeks — this page states no frequency.

Vial sizeAt 100 mcgAt 250 mcgAt 500 mcgAt 1 mgAt 2 mg
10 mg1004020105
20 mg20080402010

The labelled mass is not a guarantee of the mass in your vial: net content is a separate measurement from purity, and certificates on file often measure a few percent above or below the label.

How to reconstitute Pinealon

No label sets a diluent volume for research-grade Pinealon, and the compound page states none, so the volume is a choice; the 2 mL default here was picked for simple arithmetic. The one decision with real consequences is resolution: a 20 mg vial in 2 mL is 10 mg/mL, where each unit carries 100 mcg and a small quantity sits at one or two units. The fix is more water: 5 mL in the same vial is 4 mg/mL, or 40 mcg per unit. The technique is covered once, elsewhere: reconstituting peptides step by step and the bacteriostatic water guide. Storage and in-use guidance there is general peptide guidance, not a Pinealon-specific finding.

The Khavinson bioregulator calculators

Pinealon, Cartalax and Testagen share one calculator template. The table gives each one's structure and proposed target as its own compound page states them (each Last Updated: August 2026), and the most common labelled vial among its tests on file on 21 Sep 2026.

TestagenTetrapeptide (Lys-Glu-Asp-Gly)Testis / reproductive20 mg (18 of 22 tests)Testagen calculator

None of the three compound pages states a dose or a route. Because the vials share a size, the arithmetic is the same for each; what differs is identity, which only mass spectrometry settles. The Pinealon page pairs it with Epithalon, the pineal-targeted tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly), which has its own Epithalon calculator. The wider family is in the bioregulators category and the science of Khavinson bioregulators.

Regulatory status

Pinealon is not approved by the FDA, EMA, or any major Western regulator as of August 2026. The compound page states it is not on the FDA's active Section 503A/503B Category-2 bulk-substances list and was not among the peptides the FDA addressed in its April 2026 Category-2 actions or the July 2026 Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee meeting, so no U.S. compounding pathway applies to it. It is used in Russian clinical and research contexts but has no defined Western regulatory pathway. Background: FDA peptide regulation 2025–2026.

Frequently asked questions

How many units is 500 mcg of Pinealon?

It depends on the concentration. At the page default of 10 mg/mL (a 20 mg vial with 2 mL of water), each unit on a U-100 syringe carries 100 mcg, so 500 mcg is 5 units (0.05 mL). A 10 mg vial with the same 2 mL is 5 mg/mL, and 500 mcg is 10 units. A units figure quoted without a concentration cannot be used.

What is the standard Pinealon dose?

There isn't one. Pinealon is not approved by any major Western regulator, its human research comes from Khavinson-group work in Russian clinical contexts rather than FDA-grade Phase 2/3 trials, and Peptigrity does not recommend a dose. This calculator converts a quantity you already have in mind into syringe units; it does not supply the quantity.

Is Pinealon the same as Epithalon?

No. Both are Khavinson bioregulators targeting pineal tissue, but Pinealon is a tripeptide (Glu-Asp-Arg) proposed for neuroprotection and cognitive markers, while Epithalon is a tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) proposed for telomerase activation. They are different molecules with different sequences, and only mass spectrometry on a certificate tells them apart in a vial.

Does the mention of injection-site reactions mean Pinealon is injected?

The Pinealon compound page states no route. Its side-effects paragraph says injection-site reactions are the most common report in preclinical data and community-reported research use; that is safety text, not a route statement, and this page does not treat it as one. The calculator converts the mass in a reconstituted vial into syringe units because that is the arithmetic people ask for; it establishes nothing about route.

Why does the calculator default to a 20 mg Pinealon vial?

Because 20 mg is the most common labelled size among the Pinealon tests on file at Peptigrity: 36 of 71 on 21 Sep 2026, with 10 mg the next most common. The 2 mL of water is a round number chosen for simple arithmetic, not a sourced instruction.

How can I check what is in a Pinealon vial?

With an independent certificate of analysis: HPLC for purity and mass spectrometry for identity. The compound page gives the free tripeptide's molecular weight as 418.4 Da; mass spectrometry is what distinguishes Pinealon from other short Khavinson peptides that can be mislabeled.
