Uzorak is not currently listed as ISO/IEC 17025 accredited — the international standard for testing and calibration laboratories. This is not unusual in the peptide testing market (most listed labs lack it). Accredited results carry more regulatory weight in formal contexts. Read about lab accreditation standards →

About Uzorak

Uzorak is a Zagreb-based Croatian analytical laboratory positioning itself as a higher-standards entrant to the peptide testing market, bringing pharmaceutical-level analytical methodology to research-use-only compounds. Co-founded by Alex — a 12-year health-tech veteran whose prior DNA testing analytics company was acquired, working alongside experts with decades of pharmaceutical peptide testing experience — Uzorak's flagship service is an Advanced LC-MS Peptide Analysis package focused on what's actually inside the main chromatographic peak rather than just main-peak size.

Each report carries a unique verification link tied to sample ID and order number; customers control whether to share the link with vendors or community members.

What sets Uzorak apart

  • Standards-raising posture in an unregulated market. Uzorak explicitly argues that third-party testing standards should be *higher*, not lower, in environments where manufacturers face no regulatory oversight — the opposite of the rest of the peptide testing market's positioning. Whether the analytical execution matches the rhetoric requires CoA volume to evaluate; the posture itself is unique.
  • Advanced LC-MS as the flagship service, not an add-on. Unlike labs where mass spectrometry is a paid upgrade over HPLC, Uzorak leads with LC-MS analysis and includes impurity spectra in the standard report — report length scales with impurities found, so a clean sample produces a shorter report and a problematic sample produces a longer one.
  • Customer-controlled CoA verification. Each report has a public verification link, but the customer decides whether to share it — preserving privacy on individual testing while still allowing the verification model that public-CoA labs offer.
  • Co-founder with pharmaceutical industry network. Alex describes access to experts with decades of peptide testing experience at large pharmaceutical companies. He also acknowledges the gap between pharmaceutical peptide standards and the RUO market specifically.
  • Announced plans for an 18-element ICH Q3D heavy metal screen — aligned with FDA/EMA ICH Q3D guidelines (Class 1, 2A, PGEs, select Class 3). Would put Uzorak among a small group of peptide-market labs running pharmaceutical-grade elemental impurity panels. Buyers should confirm activation timing before relying on this service.
Honest disclosures
  • Not ISO/IEC 17025 accredited. Uzorak explicitly states they "follow most ISO 17025 guidelines where applicable" but acknowledge full accreditation is complex for research-only laboratories, particularly when working with unknown peptides or standardizing new ones. Honesty about this is itself a signal; buyers requiring formally accredited results should choose one of the four ISO-accredited labs in Peptigrity's index instead.
  • No endotoxin, sterility, or heavy metals testing in the default package as of early 2026. The 18-element ICH Q3D screen is announced but not confirmed active. Confirm current service availability before commissioning safety-relevant work.
  • New lab — no track record at scale. Limited CoA volume to evaluate against; 0 tests currently in Peptigrity's lab test database. Buyers may want to start with a single submission to evaluate analytical reporting before committing volume.
  • Pricing is "community standard" for HPLC-UV with discounts for initial customers, flat-price for LC-MS, and free testing offered to large test groups for comparison. Pricing model is evolving and not transparently published as a fixed rate card — request current pricing per submission.
